BCoFD : BCoFD Medic Unit Stolen From Carroll Hospital Center

The Franklin Fire Station's Medic 56 was stolen earlier today from Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.

The medic, which had just delivered a patient to the hospital, was reported stolen at 12:13 p.m. Shortly thereafter, the medic was involved in a crash with a Carroll County Sheriff's Office vehicle. The crash occurred in Gamber, near the Gamber & Community Fire Co.

The suspect was taken into custody by the Carroll County Sheriff's Office and transported to the hospital.

The Carroll County Sheriff's Office is handling the investigation.
