Bicyclist Killed On Peninsula Expressway: Baltimore County Police

SPARROWS POINT, MD — A bicyclist died after being hit by a car in Sparrows Point Monday. The incident occurred at approximately 4:40 a.m. on the Peninsula Expressway near Bethlehem Boulevard just off Interstate 695. The victim has not yet been identified.

According to the Baltimore County Police Department, the driver of a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox hit the cyclist from behind. Both were heading north on the Peninsula Expressway. The bicyclist was taken to a local hospital where he died. The incident is being investigated, the police department noted.
