Dundalk Apartment Fire Displaces More Than 30 People: Reports
The Red Cross was assisting families displaced by Friday morning fire.

Fire broke out at a Dundalk apartment building early Friday morning, reportedly displacing dozens of residents and injuring at least one.
At 1:05 a.m. on Friday, firefighters responded to the 1700 block of Dundalk Avenue, where fire had been reported in multiple apartments, according to The Baltimore Sun.
Heavy smoke was showing on the third floor and from the back of the building, so firefighters went inside and rescued multiple people, Fox 45 reported.

At least 30 families were displaced by the blaze, and one woman was hospitalized with serious injuries, according to ABC 2 News.
Residents were taken to Holabird Elementary School as a temporary gathering space, and the Red Cross was assisting those who had been displaced, the Baltimore Office of Emergency Management reported.

The blaze was under control by 2:50 a.m., according to WJZ.
The fire reportedly began on the roof and third floor of the building.
The building was considered a total loss, according to WJZ, which reported the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
