Dundalk Man Charged With Rape, Sex Abuse Of A Minor
Melvin Joseph Tucker III was a coach in the Arbutus Recreational Baseball League when the young victim said the alleged abuse occurred.
TOWSON, MDโA Dundalk man has been charged with second-degree rape and sex abuse of a minor and authorities believe he may have targeted and abused other victims, the Baltimore County Police Department reported.
Melvin Joseph Tucker III, 33, was arrested last week by Baltimore County detectives and ordered held without bail. According to police reports, Tucker abused a young victim while Tucker was coaching baseball with the Arbutus Recreational League. The young athletes knew Tucker as "Coach Joe," authorities said.
Detectives with the Baltimore County Crimes Against Children Unit said they believe Tucker may have abused other victims, and they have asked anyone with information related to the case to contact them at 410-307-2020.
