Meet at Inverness Community Center: 8301 Lynch Rd by 9am. Join us for an investigation of storm water runoff. Discover the storm drains of West Inverness by spray painting a lasting message that says “ Only Rain Down the Drain”. Follow the rain to see where it drains.
All ages welcome to join in and discover the connection between rain water and the Bay health!
12pm-2pm: Community Cook-out and Block Party
Free Event: Intersection of Stratman Rd. and Dineen Dr.
Meet your neighbors and enjoy free food and fun! We will provide the food, drinks, music, and games if you bring the company and conversation. Make sure to join us to participate in a special storm drain painting by local artist and your neighbor Laura! Stop by with the whole family. Stay for a few minutes or enjoy the whole thing!
