Facing the Music
City States Attorney to Prosecute Vontran, Deputy Sheriff Weiss, and Alexandra Hartsock in Burglary Case
You may remember the story that I broke on the “burglary” that occurred on the Sea Horse Inn property in Dundalk, which is the listed as 710 Wise Ave in the police report. It was an eviction done very wrongly involving a deputy sheriff, a landlord, and—eventually—the State’s Attorney’s Office.
However, to avoid any conflict of interest, the county SA forwarded the case to the Baltimore City State’s Attorney for review. This practice is quite routine in these matters. Bringing in an outside agency avoids any potential issues. Additionally, the county asked that the three cases be consolidated.

State of Maryland v. Alexandra Hartsock, Case No. 2C00408795
State of Maryland v. John Vontran, Case No. 4C00408797
The Baltimore County State’s Attorney’s Office referred the above cases for review to the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office due to a potential conflict of interest.
The Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office determined that the charges should go forward. We have requested that the three cases be consolidated for trial.
Paul O’Connor of the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office will be handling these cases from this point forward.
And now we will see what the court has to say about the matter. Needless to say, things are about to get interesting for the accused.
