How Many Baltimore County Residents Are Vaccinated: May 18
More than 45% of Baltimore County's population has received their first COVID-19 dose as of May 18.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — As of May 18, close to half of Baltimore County residents (379,900 residents or 45.9 percent) have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 298,597 people have been fully vaccinated (36.1 percent). As of Tuesday, Baltimore County has a total of 65,040 positive new coronavirus cases, according to the Baltimore County Health Department, and 1,475 deaths.
To obtain a COVID-19 vaccine, register at one of the mass vaccination sites around Maryland:
- Baltimore Convention Center, Baltimore City (Baltimore residents prioritized)
- M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore City
- Six Flags America, Prince George's County
- Regency Furniture Stadium, Charles County

Check with health care providers and private retailers that have signed up to administer the vaccine (while these are authorized to give the vaccine, in many cases supply is not there):

- Walgreens
In the latest effort to expand access to COVID-19 vaccines, Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski announced that residents can now directly schedule their appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine at all county sites.

"As we continue to make amazing progress in vaccinating our neighbors, we're ready to move into the next phase in our fight against COVID-19. By offering on-demand scheduling, we're making it even easier for people across Baltimore County to get their shot," Olszewski said. "Moving forward, we'll continue to do whatever we can to eliminate barriers to care so that everyone can easily get this free, effective, and lifesaving vaccine."
Each week, the Baltimore County Department of Health posts a weekly vaccine schedule at www.baltimorecountymd.gov/vaccine with a number of appointment slots.
Residents who are medically homebound and unable to travel to a vaccine clinic can email the department of health at COVIDVax@baltimorecountymd.gov or call the county's COVID hotline at 410-887-3816 to schedule a vaccine.
