Huge Blaze Breaks Out At Old Seagramโ€™s Plant In Dundalk

Fire investigators are trying to determine what caused the blaze at the old distillery in Dundalk early Monday.

DUNDALK, MDโ€”A two-alarm fire broke out at the old Seagram's distillery in Dundalk early Monday morning, The Baltimore Sun reported.

Baltimore County fire officials say the old plant at the 7000 block of Sollers Point Road caught fire around 5:30 a.m. No one was injured.

Reporters said parts of the building collapsing due to the fire.

Fire officials continue to investigate the cause. According to The Sun, the property has been vacant since the distillery and other businesses closed in the 1990s.

Sollers Investors LLC, owns the property and is awaiting approval for a townhouse development called Foundry Station at the site.
