Man Killed Crossing North Dundalk Avenue: Police

DUNDALK, MD — A 79-year-old man was killed crossing North Dundalk Avenue Monday night, according to police. Officials said that the man was hit by a pickup truck near the Center Place intersection as he was crossing southbound lanes on North Dundalk Avenue.

Ford Rowell, of the unit block of Weyburn Court in Rosedale, was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where police said he was pronounced deceased.

According to authorities, the driver of the 2014 GMC Sierra remained at the scene of the crash, which took place before 9 p.m.

The Baltimore County Police Department's crash team is investigating.
