• $50K lottery jolt hits truck driver during routine delivery stop (shorenewsnetwork.com) — A Dundalk truck driver turned a routine delivery stop into a $50,000 win after buying a $10 FAST PLAY Big Win ticket during a route through Severna Park. Jason Nixon, who lives in Baltimore County, double-checked the ticket at two more retailers before believing his good fortune, and lottery officials say many big prizes in the same game are still unclaimed. 
• Witness Describes Hearing Gunfire During 2024 Fatal Shooting (baltimorewitness.org) — A Dundalk man is on trial in Baltimore City, accused of killing 30-year-old Bianca Nelson and injuring her boyfriend in a 2024 shooting. Jurors heard from a witness who described hearing multiple gunshots and seeing his work van struck, while investigators linked the defendant through fingerprint evidence and an identification by the surviving victim.
• Baltimore County breaks ground on first-ever public splash pad (wmar2news.com) — Baltimore County is building its first public splash pad at Northwest Regional Park in Owings Mills, part of a broader push to expand water recreation. As the county also assumes control of the Dundalk Swim Center, residents can expect more coordinated aquatics options in coming years, with the new splash pad slated to open in 2028.
