Sandwich Sparked Barricade Situation in Dundalk: Police
A grilled cheese was at the heart of a domestic dispute that required special operations teams to negotiate Sunday night, police said.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — An argument over food led to a barricade situation in Dundalk Sunday, according to officials. What started the fight, police said, was who took a bite out of a grilled cheese sandwich.
Police said an armed man was barricaded inside a home in the 7100 block of North Point Boulevard Sunday evening. Charges were pending against the man, who was safely taken into custody around 9 p.m. on Sunday, officials reported.
Officers were originally called at 5 p.m. for a domestic dispute at the residence on North Point Boulevard, where a woman and her daughter said shots had been fired inside so they went outisde, according to WBAL. The two females were accused of taking a bite out of the sandwich.

Seeing that someone else took a bite of the sandwich "enraged him," Cpl. Shawn Vinson told ABC 2 News of the suspect, who allegedly fired shots inside the residence. At that point, the two women left the home.
As authorities investigated the incident, North Point Boulevard was shut down between Kane Street at Eastern Avenue.
