Water Main Break Traps Car In Dundalk Sinkhole
A water main break in Dundalk has impacted 50 services and left an SUV trapped in a sinkhole.

DUNDALK, MD — A water main break in Dundalk created a sinkhole on Thursday and left an SUV trapped inside the hole.
The Baltimore County Department of Public Works and Transportation said the water main break occurred near the intersection of Kavanaugh and Inverton roads. The water main break was reported around 12 p.m.
"Approximately 50 services are affected by the water main break. It is unknown how long the roadways will be closed," reads an announcement from the agency

Crews are on the scene attempting to remove the vehicle. Officials did not say whether the incident unfolded while the car was occupied.

The department said that once the vehicle is removed, additional crews will turn their attention to the broken water line.
