Woman With Guns Found In Running Car After Man Robbed: Police

Police found a Dundalk woman in possession of guns sitting in a running vehicle after two men with her robbed another man.

DUNDALK, MD โ€” A Dundalk resident faces charges after being involved in a robbery. The incident unfolded shortly after midnight Tuesday in the 200 block of 5th Avenue in Brooklyn Park. A resident called 911 and reported two men wearing masks at her front door. Anne Arundel County police officers arrived at the home and found the two men, 30-year-old Trayvon Donte Ocain of Baltimore and 25-year-old Donta Deondre Kent of Baltimore, along with a third man who said he had been robbed by the suspects in Baltimore.

Alaura-Ashley Marie Shackleford, 22, of the 2000 block of Elmore Road was found sitting in a running vehicle with the lights off nearby, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department. Shackleford had with her a Taurus 9mm semi-automatic handgun hidden in the small of her back. A second firearm, a S&W .357 revolver, was found inside the vehicle.

After interviewing everyone involved, police learned that the 54-year-old man in the home was involved in a drug transaction with the three suspects in Baltimore the night before. When the transaction was completed, the two men grabbed the victim and took his wallet and vehicle keys. All three suspects then drove the man to the residence in the 200 block of 5th Avenue in Brooklyn Park. When they arrived at the house, that's when a resident called 911, the department noted in a police report.
