• Newburg Man Charged With DUI, Cocaine Possession After Dunkirk Traffic Stop (smnewsnet.com) — A traffic stop that ended in the Safeway parking lot in Dunkirk led to DUI and cocaine possession charges for a 70-year-old Newburg man, according to deputies. Court filings describe erratic driving on Southern Maryland Boulevard, signs of heavy impairment, and the discovery of a pouch with suspected cocaine in the car, with the driver now facing multiple traffic and drug counts.
