• Chesapeake Film Festival Announces Harbor Lights Soirée Benefit and Free Summer Adventure Movie Series (whatsupmag.com) — Easton residents can look forward to the Chesapeake Film Festival’s Harbor Lights Soirée fundraiser at the Eastern Shore Conservation Center on June 27 and a free Summer Adventure Movie Series with the Talbot County Free Library. Classic films screen in July and August, leading up to the full Chesapeake Film Festival’s return to downtown Easton October 8–10 at venues including the Ebenezer Theater and Academy Art Museum.
   

• St. Mary's Lacrosse, Track, Baseball Shine (southernmarylandchronicle.com) — A St. Mary’s College men’s lacrosse standout from Easton, senior defender Joe Szymanski, has been named United East Defensive Player of the Week, his fourth such honor this season. He helped lead the Seahawks into conference semifinals, while other St. Mary’s athletes in track, field, and baseball also earned weekly awards and advanced toward championship competition.
