• Lions' region rule reaches a fourth year (somdnews.com) — Easton field hockey fans saw a tense regional final on their home turf, where Queen Anne’s edged top-seeded Easton 1–0 to claim a fourth straight 2A East II championship. Easton generated plenty of corners and late pressure, but Lions goalie Lilah Kennedy’s 11 saves, including two in the final seconds, preserved the shutout and extended Queen Anne’s postseason run.
