Students Among 3 Hospitalized After School Bus Crash: Report
Three people were hospitalized after a head-on collision involving a school bus unfolded early Thursday in Davidsonville.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — A driver and several students were hospitalized Thursday after a car crashed into a school bus in Davidsonville, according to reports.
The crash happened just before 7:45 a.m. near Cottage Farm Way and Maryland Route 214, a short distance from the Davidsonville Elementary School, Anne Arundel County Police said.

A total of 28 students were aboard the school bus when the crash occurred, with 17 students later being released to their parents at the scene, CBS Baltimore reported.
Two students who were riding in the car and the driver were hospitalized following the crash. The students were said to have suffered minor injuries.

Nine students who were on the bus were taken to the hospital as a precaution and evaluated for injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
