EDGEWATER, MD — Police announced that an 85-year-old woman died Tuesday in an Edgewater homicide. Officers will identify the victim after they notify her family.

Authorities did not name a suspect or explain how the woman was injured. Detectives are looking for Aiman Ghazi Zaharna, a 55-year-old man who they think has first-hand information on the case.

Investigators believe Zaharna is driving a gold Cadillac SRX with Maryland license plate No. 73223CJ. Police asked anybody who contacts Zaharna or the car to call 911.
