
Friends of The Light House will host the “24th Annual Bountiful Harvest, a blue tie event”
Friday, November 7th 7-10 PM at the Loews Annapolis Hotel
Annapolis, MD – (September 2014) - On Friday, November 7th, 2014 the Friends of The Light House will host the 24th Annual Bountiful Harvest, A Blue Tie Event. This annual event benefits The Light House, a homeless prevention support center in Annapolis, Maryland and will take place from 7-10 PM at the Loews Annapolis Hotel. Highlighting this year’s long-standing traditional event is a new twist, “A Blue Tie Event”. Attendees are encouraged to wear blue to support The Light House. Anything blue will do: blue jeans, blue ball gowns, blue tuxedos, blue suede shoes.

Spotlighting this year’s event will be:
● Chefs from local restaurants and catering companies who partner with the Friends of The Light House to provide their time, creativity and specialty foods to create a unique and delicious cuisine that delights the palates of guests. West Kitchen and Tavern
at the Loews Hotel, Palate Pleasers, Relysh Catering, Julie St. Marie Catering & Chef Quinton West, The Light House B.E.S.T. Catering, Sweet Hearts Patisserie, Blackwall Hitch, Ports of Call at the Double Tree Hotel and Dry85 are just a few of the culinary participants this year
● Culinary students from The Light House B.E.S.T. (Building Employment Success Training) program showcase their talents alongside local chefs
● A wide array of silent auction and live auction items donated by local shops, restaurants, vendors and area individuals – including trips to Costa Rica, Florida, culinary chef dinners, fishing charters, sports packages, health and beauty items and much more. Alex Cortright, will be the emcee/auctioneer for the evening
● Music by the Rob Levit Trio
According to Alicia Main, co-chair of Bountiful Harvest, “This is the largest annual fundraiser for The Light House. We are very excited that along with the new ‘blue’ theme, we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of The Light House with a jewelry wall. For $25 attendees will have the chance to win jewelry, valued up to $500 donated by Blanca Flor Silver Jewelry in downtown Annapolis. We are also delighted to announce that Dr. Angela Ponatoski and her husband Edward Ponatoski , both of Anne Arundel Dermatology have generously agreed to be our Gold Level Sponsor. Over the years, they have been huge supporters of The Light House.”

Tickets are $100 each and include entry into the event, open bar, delicious gourmet food from local chefs, and entertainment. VIP tickets are sold out!
