A Successful Winter Season Begins For SRYA Cheer
SRYA Seahawk Winter Competition Cheer squads make a clean sweep in Salisbury, MD by winning 1st place for all teams! 14U brings home the Grand Champion title!
When everyone else has hibernated for the long winter months, the South River Youth Athletics (SRYA) Cheerleaders are cheering their way towards a successful winter competition season.
After months of practice, the girls headed out to Salisbury, MD on Jan. 15 for their first competition of the winter season. Cheer and Dance Extreme Company hosted 50 teams to compete in All Star and Recreation divisions. All three SRYA teams made a clean sweep by finishing in 1st place within their divisions. The 14U team had the highest score of the day and brought home the title of Grand Champion in the Recreation division for the second year in a row. Congratulations goes out to the Seahawk cheer squads and their dedicated coaches and families!
