My husband has this most annoying habit and it's embarrassing when we are out in public, My husband will light a cigarette and blow the match out with his nose. I've tried to reason with him to stop this nasty habit until I'm blue in the face but no cigar! Help! Embarrassed
Dear Embarrassed,
First of all, I can see that this habit would be unnerving in public or private. Imagine blowing out matches with one's nose in the company of friends or with family!
Second of all, my only advice here is this: The next time he lights a cigarette and blows the match out with his nose, LIGHT IT! He might end up with a charred nose but maybe he'll see the light!
