Cheesesteak Chowdown: Selby Sub Shoppe

We're back! Another cheesesteak review. Although a different appearance, it was still tasty.

Well as you can see, we are slowing down on our cheesesteak consumption. We don't want to get burnt out on cheesesteaks and we just aren't quite as active since field hockey has been over. We are still doing a little field hockey and lacrosse but not as much as before.

In keeping with tradition we did make our stop at Selby Sub Shop after an indoor field hockey game.

Madeline - I thought that this cheesesteak was really good. I really liked the cheese. I am not sure what kind of cheese it was but it was tasty. One thing that was really different was that the steak was not chopped. It was a whole piece of steak with cheese melted on it. So when you bit into it you basically took out the whole piece of steak. It also did not allow the steak and cheese to mingle the way I like. But overall it was pretty good. I give it a 4.2 on the super secret rating scale.

Sarah:  I thought the cheesesteak looked a little flat because it wasn't chopped.  It was just the steak meat folded over with cheese on it. I thought it smelled and tasted okay but again it was just different biting into the piece of steak instead of the chopped meat.  That being said there was a good amount of steak and cheese on the bread.  As always the bread is very fresh at Selby.   I have to admit I was suprised that really liked it. I gave it a 3.75 on the super secret rating scale.
