This past Sat. I had to go to Home Depot. Some people love this store the way I love Nordtrom's! I hate the smell when you first walk into Home Depot. While I know exactly what I'm looking for, I don't exactly know where it is. I don't know sizes, or what aisles my item could be on.
As I walked around looking lost, (I was) I had at least 6 men ask me if I needed help. Mind you, not all of them worked there!
This got me thinking that Home Depot is a great place for singles to meet. No back and forth calls, sending pictures from 5-10 years ago, no nervous stomachs, you see each other right away and you're probably not even dressed for this meet up, even better! And to think, you both have something in common right off the bat that will make for that great first date. You buy the toilet, he comes to install it, you buy the paint, he comes to paint, you buy the lock, he comes to put it in the door, (make sure you get both keys). Who knows. toilets, paint, locks, may just lead to movies, dinner, or future home projects in a house together!

Personally, I vote for adding a coffee bar with wifi for added ambiance! I vote for adding a bridal registry so the new couple can get exactly what they want. A sawzall is the "new" set of china right?
I think they should make the garden center into a reception hall, one less expense here, no flowers needed. At your reception, you can waltz with your new hubby up and down the aisles and spend those gift cards at your reception. What a success story, 2 people joined together by the love of paint thinner! A win-win here!

So for you gals that just wanna have fun, go shopping at Home Depot, then call me at Nordstrom's Cafe, and tell me what color your new beau will be painting my bedroom!
