Chatting with Davidsonville Elementary Student Emily Pavlitsa

Patch stopped by Davidsonville Elementary to talk with second-grader Emily Pavlitsa about school, what she has learned and what she likes to do for fun.

Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch: What is your favorite thing about school?
Emily Pavlitsa: I like meeting new friends because if it wasn’t for school I wouldn’t have met so many friends.

Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch: What is something you learned recently in school?
Emily: We learned about time, and right now we are learning about measurement.

Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch: What do you like to do for fun?
Emily: I like drawing. I like drawing houses.

Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch: What is your favorite book?
Emily: I really like Weird School books. They are about kids who have really weird teachers.

Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Emily: When I grow up I really want to be a singer. Right now my favorite singer is Katy Perry.
