Chatting with Davidsonville Elementary Student Jackson Hall

Patch stopped by Davidsonville Elementary to talk with second-grader Jackson Hall about school, what he has learned and what he likes to do for fun.

Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch: What is your favorite thing about school?
Jackson Hall: Math—I just really like math.

Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch: What is something you learned recently in school?
Jackson: Drawing inferences—it’s when you go back in a book and figure out what the main ideas are.

Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch: What do you like to do for fun?
Jackson: For fun I like to do math facts.

Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch: What is your favorite book?
Jackson: Cowardly Clyde. Clyde is a horse and one day he has to go fight this big monster. The rider falls off and he is really scared, but he goes back and saves the rider and kills the monster.

Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Jackson: A mathematician.
