Patch stopped by Davidsonville Elementary to talk with second-grader Shane Toal about school, what he has learned and what he likes to do for fun.
Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch: What is your favorite thing about school?
Shane Toal: That it teaches you, because if I didn’t know my money I couldn’t buy my iTouch or anything. Counting money is my favorite thing.
Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch: What is something you learned recently in school?
Shane: In science I learned different theories about how the dinosaurs got extinct. One theory is an asteroid, another one is climate and one is a volcano. Or an asteroid could have created all these storms that killed all the dinosaurs.

Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch: What do you like to do for fun?
Shane: I have fun in school at recess. I usually practice football with my friends—that’s fun. At lunch I get some quality time to talk to my friends.

Shane: Captain Underpants—I like how it always has a comic in the beginning and at the end.

Shane: Well, I want to be an NFL football player. My favorite team is the Ravens, and I like Ray Rice.
