EDGEWATER, MD — An Anne Arundel County man was arrested Thursday after a Maryland State Police Central South Region investigation into the distribution and possession of child pornography.

Gregory S. Quick, 34, of Edgewater, is charged with four counts of distribution of child pornography and seven counts of possession of child pornography. Quick was arrested at his residence without incident and taken to the Maryland State Police Annapolis Barrack for processing.

In May 2019, Maryland State Police began an investigation involving the possession of child pornography, which led them to Quick, according to a news release. About 5:45 a.m. on June 13, State Police served a search warrant at his residence. During the search, a preliminary review of Quick’s electronic devices showed child pornography files stored on them. The devices were seized and will be analyzed further.
