Edgewater Burglary Suspect Flees Court: Police

Annapolis Police say Kevin Morris fled Circuit Court after learning there was an arrest warrant issued for him.

An Edgewater burglary suspect reportedly fled from the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court building after learning there was a warrant for his arrest, but his freedom was short-lived.

On Nov. 17, officers from the Annapolis Police Department chased after Kevin Morris, 27, of Edgewater when he fled from court. Numerous officers searched the area on foot and in their vehicles.

Authorities say Morris was located in a business on Main Street.

He was served with the warrant for first-degree burglary, two counts of fourth-degree burglary, and theft for an incident in Anne Arundel County.

Morris is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
