Edgewater Man Charged With Child Porn Offenses
State investigators charged the suspect with one count of distributing child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.

EDGEWATER, MD — An Edgewater man was arrested on child pornography charges after a search of his home and computer, officials said.
State police investigators from the Computer Crimes Section, Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, arrested the Anne Arundel County man on child pornography-related charges Wednesday.
William Eikenberg Jr., 45, of the 2100 block of Shore Drive in Edgewater was charged with one count of distributing child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.

After Eikenberg’s initial court hearing, he was taken to the Anne Arundel County Detention Center to be held on $30,000 bail.
A search and seizure warrant was executed at Eikenberg’s residence by Maryland State Police Computer Crimes investigators and agents from the Department of Homeland Security. Eikenberg was arrested after the warrant was executed.
