Edgewater Photographer Earns Honorable Mention In Post's Contest

EDGEWATER, MD — Retired NASA contractor Rich Isaacman of Edgewater has received honorable mention in The Washington Post's annual photo contest. Isaacman used a drone to capture the gorgeous imagery of a river flowing into the Arctic Ocean.

The photo highlights the country's volcanic features, contoured terrain and rippling water. He captured the photo toward the end of his drone's 20-minute flight. Isaacman teaches drone photography at the Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts.
