Book Signing: Our African American Church Communities in Southern Anne Arundel County

Lothian genealogist Elinor Thompson has been working for decades to trace her African-American roots in southern Anne Arundel County. She's compiled some of her research into a book, "In the 8th District: Our African American Church Communities in Southern Anne Arundel."

She will be giving and author talk and book signing at Banneker Douglass museum in Annapolis on Saturday. The event is free and open to the public.
