Don't miss out on your last chance to attend the South River Federation's Oyster Husbandry Workshop.
This workshop will be specific to oysters in the South River and will be an opportunity to learn more about the protected sanctuaries and public oyster beds in the river. The RIVERKEEPER will be discussing peer-reviewed research on oyster growers to give you a broader perspective on oyster biology.
Our new Volunteer Coordinator will discuss how you can become more involved by planting your own oysters during the South River Days Celebration. We will have a presentation from Marylanders Grow Oysters Coordinator, Chris Judy, who will further discuss oyster biology and bring along a collection of oysters and critters commonly found in oyster cages. Please RSVP to jennifer@southriverfederation.net
This is a great chance to learn more about oyster husbandry, so we hope to see you there!
