Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks serves millions of residents and visitors annually through a wide variety of services and programs. Its primary focus is to provide comprehensive recreational programs for residents and safeguard valuable land through the maintenance and management of over 160 parks and natural areas. The department manages specialized recreational facilities, including two swim centers, two golf courses, three ice rinks, a baseball stadium, a softball complex, and programs tailored to diverse needs ranging from school-age childcare to adaptive recreation. It also cares for thousands of acres of land, encompassing community parks, greenways, archaeological sites, environmental and historical preserves, and large regional parks spanning several hundred acres. Its mission is to create opportunities that allow individuals to enjoy life, explore nature, and restore their health and well-being. Training Sessions Include: 
• Wing Chun Combat Applications – efficient close‑range techniques and real‑time responses
 • Upright Grappling (Chinese Wrestling) – balance, control, and takedown mechanics that build from simple to advanced
 • Chinese Sword Applications – movement, timing, and strategy using traditional methods
You’ll learn from three highly respected instructors—Shifu Billy Greer, Sifu Paul Ramos, and Sigung Norman Smith—each bringing decades of experience across multiple martial arts systems.
