
St. James’ Parish in Lothian, Maryland will hold its annual “Spring Crab Cake and Country Ham Dinner” Saturday, May 19, 2 – 6 pm. The menu will feature homemade crab cakes, country and honey-baked ham, potatoes au gratin, homemade coleslaw, rolls and biscuits, beverages and homemade pies. The event will provide an afternoon of entertainment for the whole family. Diners may enjoy the bake and garden shops, homemade ice cream, antique treasures, oxen cart rides and guided tours of historic St. James’ Church.
The dinner is $20 for adults (eat in or carry out), $10 for children 10 years and under. Children under 2 years old eat free. Hot dogs will be provided by request with a purchase of dinner.
The “Spring Crab Cake and Country Ham Dinner” is sponsored by the Women of St. James’ Parish. The dinner is one of the largest fundraisers for the Parish. The proceeds from the dinner go to support the Parish and community outreach programs.

St. James’ Parish, Old Herring Creeke is one of the historic Anglican parishes established under the Maryland General Assembly by the Royal Governor of Maryland in 1692. The present church which continues to serve the congregation today was built in 1765. St. James’ Parish is located at 5757 Solomons Island Road in Lothian.
