Strawberry Festival

Davidsonville United Methodist Church, located at 819 W. Central Ave. in Davidsonville, MD will have its annual Strawberry Festival on Saturday, May 26th from 11:00-2:00.  Featured items include everything strawberry:  pies, shortcakes, smoothies and cheesecake.  There will also be crafters and games for younger children.  Crafters are needed...if you would like to buy a space for $10.00 please leave a message with the church office:  410-798-5511.  The Tongues of Fire BBQ Ministry Team will be selling pulled pork, beef brisket, pulled chicken and pit-cooked chicken.  Sandwiches and platters available along with lemonade, sweet and unsweetened tea.  Other food items that will be offered are hot dogs, hamburgers, Italian sausages and sodas by the United Methodist men.  Proceeds benefit the Youth Group ministries, including the Youth Group summer service project in North Carolina.  Strawberries are donated by the Hopkins Farm.  Contact the church office, 410-798-5511, for more information.  www.dumc.net
