Former Restaurant Employee Charged With Break-In
Video reportedly shows the Edgewater man falling from the ceiling of Angela's Italian Kitchen, police say.

An Edgewater man faces burglary charges for allegedly breaking into the restaurant he once worked at, police say.
The commercial burglary of Angela’s Italian Kitchen in Edgewater was reported Saturday morning.
Anne Arundel County Police who reviewed the business’ surveillance video with the owner saw the suspect fall from the ceiling and limp to the cash register. The suspect then went out the front door without taking any property.

The owner recognized the suspect as Mark Akers, 40, of Edgewater, a former restaurant employee.
Akers was charged with the burglary.
