Go Back To Revolutionary War Time This Sunday

Local historic site is hosting colonial reenactment with fun for the whole family.

Attention all American patriots: Now is the time to shirk the mantle of the royalists. Don your patriot breeches and enlist in the Continental Army—this Sunday at in Edgewater.

This Sunday, London Town will play host to reenactors from Ship's Company, Baltemore Rangers and London Town's own "interpreters of the past" for Revolutionary London Town.

From noon to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday (July 10), cannons will be fired and life will return to the way it was during the time of the Revolutionary War.

The William Brown House at London Town and Gardens is a National Historic Landmark. Take a tour of the house or help with housekeeping at the Lord Mayor's Tenement. Prepare a colonial meal or learn to play colonial games, including quoits, nine pins, cards, and dice.

All activities are child-friendly, so make this a family day.

Children’s colonial costumes will be available to try out.  All visitors can stay refreshed with scoops of ice cream provided by Annapolis Ice Cream Company. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase.

Admission for the day is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, $5 for youth (aged 7-18), and free for children 6 and younger.
