Anne Arundel County Police were called to the Target parking garage at 1911 Towne Centre Boulevard in Annapolis about 5 p.m. Wednesday. A man told officers that Guthridge was speeding in the garage and nearly struck his daughter while they were walking to their vehicle. A police officer stopped Guthridge's vehicle in the 2500 block of Riva Road, and he was taken into custody. Guthridge had a black (BB gun) replica handgun in his possession, police say.
