Heroin Found In Car, 2 Edgewater Residents Arrested: Police
Two Edgewater residents face drug charges after State Police reportedly found heroin in their vehicle during an Annapolis traffic stop.

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Maryland State Police have charged two Edgewater residents with possession of drugs after a traffic stop Thursday on Cedar Park Road in Annapolis reportedly turned up heroin and marijuana in their vehicle.
The suspects are identified as Hailey M Mock, 23, and Travis S. Kramer, 30, both of Edgewater. They are both charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, intent to distribute and additional misdemeanors, according to Maryland State Police. Both were seen by an Annapolis District Court Commissioner. Kramer was released and Mock is being held at the Anne Arundel County Detention Center.
Shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday, a trooper reportedly saw Mock not wearing her seat belt while driving a silver Kia on Cedar Park Road at Porter Road. Kramer was the front seat passenger. After stopping the vehicle, the trooper reported several signs of possible criminal activity and requested a K-9 scan of the vehicle.

After a positive alert by the K-9, a search of the vehicle led troopers to seize the marijuana and heroin. Officers also located over $1,950 in cash. The contraband and vehicle were taken into custody pending further investigation.
