Holiday Sharing Plan Matches Donors with Families for Thanksgiving and Christmas
Want to give a little to the less fortunate this holiday season? State and local social service agencies team up to match donors with those in need.

Can you remember a Thanksgiving without a turkey or a Christmas without presents under the tree? For many families in our area, this is a real possibility, especially during these tough economic times.
That is why the Anne Arundel County Department of Social Services and the Maryland Department of Human Resources are working together for the "Holiday Sharing" plan to match donors with local families in need.
"This year the need greatly exceeds the number of those able to give. The need is especially great in the Edgewater and Davidsonville area," said Tanya Steele, Holiday Sharing coordinator, in a release.
