Lothian Man Arrested for Breaking, Entering: Police
Annapolis Police say William McCumber broke into a home while a resident was home; he faces multiple criminal charges.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A Lothian man was charged with burglary after he was reportedly confronted by a homeowner during a break-in, police said.
According to a police report, a man who lives on South Cherry Grove Avenue heard someone force open a rear window about 3:15 p.m. on March 24.
The homeowner called Annapolis Police and officers located William McCumber, 28, of Lothian, as he fled the home. McCumber was identified as the suspect and arrested.

Authorities charged McCumber with third- and fourth-degree burglary, and two counts of destruction of property.
He is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center on $10,000 bond.
