Muddy Creek Artists Guild Spring Show Opens Friday
"Artists on the Half Shell" will run until Sunday at Galesville Memorial Hall.
The Muddy Creek Artists Guild fifth annual spring show “Artists on the Half Shell” will open in Galesville on Friday.
Member artists will display all new work, which includes more than 250 original paintings, pastels, photograph, original prints, sculpture, pottery, textiles, jewelry, and mixed media.
The show runs all weekend, but there will be two special events on Saturday. A wine tasting hosted by South County’s own Thanksgiving Farms Winery of Harwood will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. Along with a Meet the Artists reception from 5 to 8 p.m., featuring the music of Dan Haas, wine and refreshments.

The hours for the show are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The event will be held at Galesville Memorial Hall and is free to the public.
