• New Pet Microchip Scanners At Every Anne Arundel Fire Station Already Helping Lost Pets (thebaynet.com) — Edgewater pet owners now have a new way to reunite with lost animals, as every Anne Arundel County fire station — including Woodland Beach Volunteer Fire Company on Londontown Road — is equipped with universal microchip scanners. Residents who find a stray dog or cat can stop by their nearest station to have it scanned, giving firefighters another tool to quickly match pets with their families.
