Seniors Can Get Coupons for Local Farmer's Market

Department of Aging coupons are available to those 60 and up who qualify.

Love the Farmer's Market, but find the prices a little too steep for someone on a fixed income? Well if you are over 60, you can get coupons to use at area Farmer's Markets.

The Anne Arundel County Department of Aging is offering Farmer's Market Coupons to county seniors. The "Farmer's Market Nutrition Program" is available to anyone 60 years of age or older who is an Anne Arundel County resident and who meets the income guidelines.

One person may earn up to $1,679 per month and a two-person family can earn up to $2,268 per month.

Coupons can be picked up from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday at the department, 2666 Riva Road, Suite 400, in Annapolis.
