Shot Fired Outside Gas Station, Suspect Arrested: Police
An argument outside a Lothian gas station led a Bowie man to fire his gun into the ground and throw a bullet at the victim, police alleged.

LOTHIAN, MD — Police accused a Bowie man of firing a gun outside a Lothian gas station and throwing a live bullet at a victim last Tuesday. Officers announced that they arrested the suspect, identified as 25-year-old Nathaniel Edward Richardson, without incident.
The scuffle happened around 12:30 a.m. in front of the Dash In located at 1378 Mount Zion Marlboro Road, also known as Maryland Route 408. Witnesses told authorities that two males were arguing in the parking lot and that the suspect fired a shot into a pile of mulch. He then ejected a round of ammunition and threw it at the other male, police alleged.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department said it spotted a Glock 26 handgun, but investigators couldn't find any other corroborating evidence. Nobody was hurt during the argument.
