LOTHIAN, MD — A teen was riding his dirt bike in Lothian when a passenger in a car jumped out and fired shots at the rider, police said.
The confrontation happened about 4:30 p.m. Friday near Berkley Court and Sands Road, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
The 18-year-old victim told police he was riding his dirt bike when a car pulled in front of him, causing him to stop. A passenger got out of the vehicle and shot at him, the teen told officers.

The victim fled on foot and the dirt bike was stolen by the attackers.
There were no injuries reported, a police news release said.

Detectives reported finding evidence of shots fired at the scene.
The suspects are described as four males wearing face masks and driving a dark-colored large sedan.
