Southern Middle Staffer Named Council of PTA President

Pam Bukowski is a speech language pathologist who will serve as the Anne Arundel County Council of PTAs president.

On Monday, the Anne Arundel County Council of PTAs (AACCPTA) will install Pam Bukowski, a speech language pathologist at Southern Middle and the Phoenix Center as its new president.

Bukowski, who is currently first vice president, will reportedly be installed Monday as president in a brief ceremony prior to the annual AACCPTA Budget Advocacy Training. The ceremony will take place at the Carol S. Parham Board of Education Building on Riva Road in Annapolis at 7 p.m.

The group represents 84 local PTA schools and nearly 13,000 members.

The AACCPTA provides training, support and advocates on behalf of PTA members on a wide range of issues related to the health, education and safety of children, and parents to the Board of Education, Anne Arundel County Council and the Maryland Legislature.
