2 Fatalities, 1 Injury in Thanksgiving Day Collision
Two Carroll County men were killed in the Mt. Airy accident early Thursday.

Two Carroll County men were killed in an early morning car accident on Thanksgiving Day.Β
According to police,Β Ricky Louis Wean, 25,Β of New Windsor andΒ Christopher Gerald Goldzwig, 23, of Keymar were both pronounced dead at the scene.Β
Just beforeΒ 1 a.m. on Nov. 28,Β Wean, who wasΒ driving a Honda Prelude, was traveling northbound on BuffaloΒ Road in Mt. AiryΒ just south of Old Bohn Road when heΒ passed the vehicle in front of him on a double yellowΒ line, according to police reports. Goldzwig was the passenger in the Prelude.Β
Police said the driver lost control of the Prelude, crossed over the double yellow line and was hit by a Dodge Ram on the driver side.Β
The driver of the Dodge Ram,Β Steven Marcus Bryant, 25,Β ofΒ Laytonsville, Md., was transported to Meredith Hospital in Hagerstown with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Collision reconstructionists from the Carroll County Sheriffβs Office responded and will be conducting an investigation.Β
