Batting Cages, Indoor Fields and More Coming to Eldersburg
JACT Sports Complex hopes to bring local sports to a new level.

Coming this fall, a new sports complex hopes to take area sporting to a new level.
The JACT Sports Complex and Party Facility coming to the former Eldersburg London Fog factory this fall at 1332 Londontown Blvd. will bring batting cages, indoor fields and more to a town where the popularity of youth sports is ever growing.
The area has been lacking batting cages since Freedom Golf Center on Route 26 west of Route 32 closed and the Liberty Business Exchange took its place.

"The idea is to give the local community a place to go for recreation and sports," said Tom Brown, owner and founder of JACT Sports. "Kids are becoming more active in sports at a younger age and leagues and local fields are overcrowded.
"We are hoping to relieve this problem and keep kids active during the winter months with indoor fields, rental space and batting cages, keeping kids in shape for when their sport is in season."

The sports complex will also offer moon bounces and rooms to rent for parties in addition to more than 68,000 square feet of space, two indoor sport fields, a basketball court, a volleyball court and outdoor lighted fields.
"Parents now have to travel to Westminster, Owings Mills or Howard County for something like this," said Brown. "This will be a great opportunity for the local youth."
