Carroll Community College Welcomes Hill Scholars

Twenty new students at Carroll Community College recently  participated in a welcome ceremony as incoming members of the 2011-2012 Hill Scholars Program.

The program is a selective-admission honors cohort program that includes honors courses linked by a common theme, seminar, and extra-curricular enrichment opportunities.

The program offers students enriched learning experiences that foster intellectual inquiry, critical thinking skills, a passion for life-long learning, and an active learning community of students and faculty working together according to a news release.  

At the end of the two-year program, students earn an associate degree as well as the Hill Scholar designation.
