Carroll Community College Welcomes Hill Scholars

Twenty Carroll Community College students selected for the Hill Scholars program.

Twenty new students at Carroll Community College recentlyΒ  participated in a welcome ceremony as incoming members of the 2011-2012 Hill Scholars Program.

The program is a selective-admission honors cohort program that includes honors courses linked by a common theme, seminar, and extra-curricular enrichment opportunities.

The programΒ offers students enriched learning experiencesΒ that fosterΒ intellectual inquiry, critical thinking skills, a passion for life-long learning, and an active learning community of students and faculty working together according to a news release.Β Β

At the end of the two-year program, students earn an associate degree as well as theΒ Hill Scholar designation.
