Carrolltowne Elementary Brings 'Honk Jr.' Musical to Eldersburg
The local young actors and actresses brought their musical to Eldersburg this weekend.
The Carrolltowne Players brought the classic story of "The Ugly Duckling" to life this weekend, showing off their acting skills in their spring play "HONK, Jr."
"HONK! Jr. is a wonderful reminder of all the things we hope our children will learn," said Kate Bernstein, the group's publicist. "The message is to accept others for who they are, not what they look like, and to remember that being different is okay."
More than 70 children in kindergarten through fifth grade at participated in the production, which marked the second for the Carrolltowne players following "Willy Wonka last year."
